This series is entitled "Natural Beauty" and is painted using acrylic nail polish on watercolor paper. She has done quite a lot of paintings with nail polish, and even one using plastic fingernails as tesserae. The images below are from a series of paintings of decomposing monzogranite Ms. Daly did while artist-in-residence at Joshua Tree National Park.
She states, "My MFA is from Columbia University. My paintings and photographs have been on the cover of one of my books, DaDaDa (Salt Publishing, 2003) and in several small magazines and eZines such as Shampoo and The Hat.
